Bar and Restaurant

The bar at the clubhouse is open the first and third Friday evening of every month. It is also open most Sunday afternoons in alignment with SAGS racing, usually from late January to mid December. The bar will also be open to support special events including the St Helena Cup and Lady Skippers Race. Members will be emailed about extra opening hours which will also be posted on the Events Calendar.

The first and third Friday evenings of each month dining is provided by Café La Mer who operate our kitchen to deliver a fantastic menu, with meals cooked to order. Current menu available here. Live music is usually arranged on the first Friday of each month and this is a great opportunity to meet new members and socialise with old friends.

During the SAGS season, the bar is usually open from about 3:00 pm on Sunday afternoon for a few hours so the tall tales of the days racing can be shared between competitors. It’s also a great opportunity for all club members to enjoy a sundowner overlooking the marina. Some snacks are available over the bar and the bar-b-que facility is available to club members.  Look out for Sunday Afternoon Sessions which we will schedule during the year from time to time, which will offer live entertainment and a chance to grab a meal.

The clubhouse and bar is equipped with a large screen TV and Bose sound system, servicing both the inside and outdoor areas. There is also a covered gas barbecue facility available for club member use adjacent to beer garden area.

Toilets, shower facilities and an ice machine are available to members, their families and guests. These facilities are accessed by the “Club Key”.
An industrial rubbish bin is located adjacent to the front gate.
