Expression of Interest – Demountable Office Building

Wynnum Manly Yacht Club (WMYC) invites expressions of interest for the purchase and removal of a demountable office building currently located on the western side of the clubhouse. This building has reliably served as office accommodation for approximately 30 years.

As part of the current clubhouse extension project—scheduled for completion in October 2025—the demountable will no longer be required. Accordingly, WMYC is offering the structure for sale and removal.

Building Details:

• Dimensions: 20 metres x 3 metres

• Structure: Freestanding, supported by girders on steel posts

• Services: WMYC will ensure power and water disconnection, and removal of the small northern fence to facilitate access

Important Dates and Conditions:

• Availability for removal: October 2025

• Expressions of Interest close: 31 August 2025

• A $5,000 bond will be required from the successful bidder, to ensure commitment . The bond will be refundable upon complete removal of the building
