Wynnum Manly Yacht Club (WMYC) offers a Crew Overboard (MOB) training mannequin available for use by both members and non-members.

This practical training aid is designed to assist skippers and crew in developing and refining safe and effective techniques for recovering a person from the water and bringing them back on board.

The mannequin provides a realistic training experience, helping improve confidence, coordination, and preparedness in emergency situations.

Cost:
Use of the mannequin for a 24 hour period is free of charge.

Conditions of Use:

• The equipment must be handled with care at all times.
• Any damage to the mannequin during use will be invoiced to the individual or group responsible.
• Bookings are required to ensure availability and proper management of the equipment.

We encourage all boaters to take advantage of this valuable safety resource to practise and enhance their man overboard recovery skills.

Collect from the WMYC Office from Monday to Friday 9am to 3:00pm, return the mannequin to the office the following day  or Monday in the case of weekends.
