Yacht Racing at WMSCWe race on most Sunday afternoons throughout the year as part of the SAGS series — a relaxed and friendly pursuit-style yacht racing program. In addition to our regular Sunday racing, WMSC hosts other race series and regattas across the season. Sailors of all experience levels are encouraged to explore our racing calendar and join in the fun.

Dragon BoatingThe Manly Dragon Boat Club in Queensland was founded in 2006, led by founding President Bob White, with a vision to bring people together through the power and spirit of dragon boating. Built as a vibrant, community-driven sporting club, it has grown through the support of grants and sponsorships, enabling the development of its equipment and programs. Nestled within the picturesque grounds of the Wynnum Manly Yacht Club, the club offers a unique waterfront home where teamwork, fitness, and community pride come alive on the water.

Social EventsOff the water, WMYC members enjoy a vibrant and welcoming social scene. The clubhouse comes alive with regular dining and entertainment nights, trivia evenings, and relaxed gatherings across the patio and BBQ area. The bar is open every Friday night and Sunday afternoon—perfect for unwinding and connecting with fellow members.

Cruising DivisionThe WMYC Cruising Division warmly welcomes everyone to join their regular cruises, offering a relaxed and enjoyable way to explore the region’s stunning waterways while connecting with fellow members. Cruises visit a variety of destinations such as Amity, the Brisbane River, Mooloolaba, Fraser Island, Scarborough at the Moreton Bay Boat Club, and Coochimudlo Island, providing a mix of short getaways and longer adventures.
